Just some quick thoughts on the
LAST ISSUE EVER!*

I liked it. Look, I get why people are upset with the issue. Comic book fans are notorious for hating any "real" change in the status quo. So, obviously, ending the longest running and most beloved Marvel Comics series is going to come with a lot of controversy. And the way it ends probably isn't going to make people all that happy either.
Basically, the story is that dying Doctor Otto Octavius swaps bodies with Peter Parker. The final issues follows Peter as he attempts to get back his body and Otto as he tries to stop Peter from defeating him once again. The big twist (Which was leaked last month), is that Peter dies in Otto's body, leaving Otto in Spider-Man's body, but not before Peter can give Otto all of memories, with Otto deciding to go good and be a better Spider-Man than even Peter could have been. Next month, The Superior Spider-Man continues this story.
And it works. The comic is a very good issue that makes for a great send off for Peter Parker and a good introduction to the new Doctor Spiderpus. Writer Dan Slott took a story that could have easily been a silly and stupid plot twist and actually made it interesting and fun to read. If you hated the idea, give it a shot and you may actually be pleased. And if you don't like it, well, Peter Parker will be back within the year. Guaranteed.
At least, that's what I think.
