Another Reason 3D Kinda Sucks

As I have made clear a few times on this blog, I didn't really like G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, but the trailers for the sequel, G.I. Joe: Retailiation, were very effectively getting me hyped for the movie which WAS getting released in June. Until now...

"Haywire" Review

This movie literally has audiences and critics split. So, why is that? It's a question I attempt to answer in this review. This is Haywire!

"Skyfall" Gets Teased

I 'm not quite sure if I've said this or not, but I love the Daniel Craig Bond movies. Quantum of Solace isn't fantastic, but it was pretty good. However, Casino Royale is honestly one of my favorite action movies period. So, naturally, I'm excited for Skyfall, the next entry in the Craig series. The teaser's below:

We Need to Talk: One Year Ago Today...

Today, May 19, 2012 is officially the one year birthday of Cinema Won. Wow. It completely does not feel like it's been one full year. This time last year I was talking about how much of a cash-grab Titanic 3D was. And now I have reviewed over 30 films and wrote over 140 posts. Time flies when you're having fun, I guess.
I started new series and unceremoniously ended them after I found they weren't working. I watched movies that have made it on to my list of the greatest movies of all time. Movies like A Nightmare on Elm Street and 1941's The Wolfman. I have seen some of the worst movie ever made, like Just My Luck, Catwoman and (Shudder) The Apocalypse. In my pursuit to simply review movies I have made memory and had experiences I never would before.
And I hope to keep these going for as long as I can. As Cinema Won enter's it's second year, I'm looking forward to doing new things and writing new series that will keep thing interesting. And above all else, I'll keep reviewing movies, every week, just for you guys. Thank you for helping Cinema Won reach a full year. Thank you.

One-Year Anniversary Review-athon: "High School Musical 3: Senior Year"

It's time to celebrate! For this Saturday, May 19th, Cinema Won officially turns One. A full year of reviews, news and opinions that were all done in the name of movies. And to celebrate the anniversary, what better than a Review-athon! Similar to last Halloween, I will review a movie every day for the next five days, leading up to Cinema Won's birthday. For our special theme, every single one of these movies is either a sequel, prequel, remake or reboot of one that I have previously reviewed. And what better way to kick things off then reviewing the sequel to one of the movies I didn't review on Cinema Won. This is High School Musical 3: Senior Year!

The Big Red Movie

Growing up in the early 2000s there weren't as many classic children's show that as remember fondly as there were in the 80s and 90s. That being said, one of the shows I do remember well was Clifford the Big Red Dog. And now, guess who's getting a new movie?
